Lodestar [lōdˌstär]NOUN: a star that guides the navigation of a ship
Lodestar Law is dedicated to serving injured workers and providing guidance through a difficult time. At Lodestar Law everybody counts. We help U.S. government contractors throughout the world with injuries suffered in the course of their work, often on military bases (both domestic and overseas), scientific research facilities, and active war zones under the Defense Base Act (DBA) and the Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentalities Act (NAF or NAFI). If you have been injured while working as a contractor for the U.S. Government, you have rights and you have a strong advocate in Lodestar Law.
What We Do
Lodestar Law helps contactors worldwide recover what they deserve. Unlike other firms, Lodestar Law focuses solely on representing civilian contractors for the U.S. Government. With his background of over 10 years working for DBA insurance companies, Kent Rogers now uses his experience and knowledge to help injured workers. Don’t let the insurance company push you around. We know the tricks used by insurance company adjusters to devalue claims. We also know the pressure points to use with insurance companies to get results. We will keep the insurance company honest. The Defense Base Act
The Defense Base Act (DBA) provides workers' compensation protection to civilian employees working outside the United States on U.S. military bases or under a contract with the U.S. government for public works or for national defense. The Defense Base Act provides disability, medical, and death benefits to covered employees injured or killed in the course of employment, whether or not the injury or death occurred during work hours.
